Glad Rags

Feelin' a little 1920's-ish (ish, ish) as I take a break from my 3D stuffs (still super lightheaded from my flu). I haven't drawn with a tablet in a while...Feels odd.

Btw this is for Kyle Cahill, my awesome new roomie!

Sketchbook Pics

Since I've been down with the flu for a few days now I thought it'd be a good time to post some sketches from my newest sketchbook. Sorry about the quality, I'm using my phone instead of a scanner. :P

My warm-up sketch wish for warmer weather lol.

I drew this at Sheridan's Coffee Loft...The poor guy ended up spilling his coffee all over himself when he tried to take a drink (hence the backwards lid.)

Only had red and brown copics, a china marker. one ink pen and a white gel pen on me when I drew this on the VIA train home.

Coned Cat Render Pass

I gave this guy a super last minute make-over a day before my prof-student meeting and thankfully it turned out for the best. He got suited up with the general colours and some markings from our family dog Levi since the plain white was just not cutting it.

I just need to give him chompers and fix the maps of the textures on the bottoms of his paws then it's rigging time.

Fur Test

My professors helped me get fur on this guy, but I still have to map where it's not supposed to grow (I changed my UVs since my last post). So for now he'll have a fuzzy nose and paw pads. I still think his eyes are creepy. D:

Cat Fur

I gave up trying to use VRay Fur...So I then took it upon myself to paint it all...Which was super time consuming anyway. The eyes wouldn't import so I'll get that sorted another day.

3D Cat Model

Well here's what I have so far in modelled form of my cat (re-hashed 2D design previously from my 4th-year film Catformity). I'm still fixing issues but so far it seems to be going rather well.
